  1. I had chest pains too many years ago went to the Dr. and they said it was stress triggering my asthma so basically my stress was making myself sick….. then a few years ago someone at the local clinic told me they heard a heart flutter and set me up for an EKG I went to that and the tech said mine was the best he was probably going to see all day and I was good to go…. As one of your oldest friends I am very aware of how much you do for others and keep trying to remind you that Hey we aren’t in our 20’s anymore we need more rest. Except when us Ladies get together then we need more hours as the time goes by far to fast.

    • So true my friend…love the gif you posted that said “we used to party to our favorite music and now we clean to it..” Oh well. Maybe it was the partying that kept us young and kept the chest aches away!! To anyone reading this comment- please do not take that last sentence seriously!!!

  2. Yvonne, you are a delight except for the medical stuff – I really wish you did not have to deal with this. I have my stuff from biochem warfare and constantly try keeping the VA docs aware of what I am going through because I am 19 years ahead of the ones who were exposed in 1991.

Keep your great attitude and attitude of benevolent discount of medical silliness! Be well and God Bless!

    • Dear Craig- I didn’t know that you were a veteran my friend. My deepest gratitude to you for your service sir. Thank you too for reading my blog and commenting. If the one thing I can offer to someone who has served my country is a brief smile then that makes me very happy.

  3. I KNOW A FAMILY WHERE ALL THE MALES ARE BORN WITH 6 FUNGERS – 2 PINKIES. WHEN I WAS LITTLE MY OLDER COUSIN TOLD ME HER stuffed puppy was real and I
believed her. But I was always skeptical. Ha ha

    • Wow to the family story Denise but yep, crazy things we got told and believed when we were younger. I was growing up by the water during the Jaws years and always thought that if I hung an arm over the side of my bed, Jaws himself could come up through the basement and the floor and grab it. Something my sisters’ probably told me as well. But, on the flip side, if there was thunder they told me that was only God bowling and that offered me great comfort during super scary storms. Thank you so much for commenting my friend!

  4. Again, you have presented everyone with a post that causes us to laugh and to think about what is going on.

I had unexplained chest pains for a while. When I finally headed to the doctor to get checked out(after days of thinking what would happen to my kids), it turned out that it was heartburn. One less thing to worry about.

    Thank you for your post.

    • Thank you so much Darla-I really appreciate it! And I think you are right, that maybe it was heartburn for me years ago too. Thank goodness for both of us!!

  5. That is why, as a former physician, after MS I decided to limit my doctor visits to Neuro and Ophthalmology and come what may. Enjoy life and don’t fill your days with doctor visits!

    • Thank you my friend! I’m just too honest when they ask me questions and then I get obsessed thinking I always have to do what they say. It’s that guilt part of my brain that I probably also got from my chimp family. But are you really a former physician? I don’t think there is such a thing. At least I hope not. I have you as card # 216 in my file!!!
