If you or someone you know is struggling with addiction, there are resources to help.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, (SAMHSA) is a great place to start. You can reach them through this SAMHSA link or by calling 800-622-HELP (4357) They are available 24/7/365 and have operatiors who speak English and Spanish.
Narcotics Anonymous is another excellent resource for thouse struggling with addiction.
For those who are newly diagnosed or living with multiple sclerosis, The National MS Society is an excellent source of information, support and news.
As is MS Cure Fund, another excellent resource for patients, care givers and anyone with a question or who want to help.
Another agency I couldn’t do without is the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
The Multiple Sclerosis Foundation is another agency that is available to provide many services to those struggling with MS.
Erase MS is the website for the Nancy Davis Foundation that I have found wonderfully supportive. I am sure you will too!
Modern Day MS is a cool website that helps newly diagnosed MS patients to not feel so alone.
Can’t believe I have been living with MS for over four years and only recently discovered this great site! Healthline puts all the online resources you need in your MS journey in one convenient location!
HelpMeDevices was created by an MS caregiver and it’s spot on! It shows you various aids that can help you live well with MS and where to find them!
Beliefnet is a Christian inspirational site that has given me several moments of smiles and joy. I admire their generous use of humor, including Church jokes. I hope it will inspire you as it has inspired me.
