Without the humor, I wouldn’t make it through each day! Fortunately, my 12 year-old-son (who never knew his Mom pre-MS) has a very honest and wise perspective. Between my dad’s Alzheimer’s and my own MS, my son (who we adopted as a newborn) asked me this question a couple years ago…”So if Grandpa has Alzheimer’s and you have MS and I’m adopted, does that mean that I don’t have your genes?” My answer…”That’s true. You don’t.” He said, “YES!!!” with a look of pure exhilaration complete with a huge grin and strong fist pump! Ya just gotta giggle!
That’s great Gina! You gotta love the honesty of kids. He sounds awesome! Thank you for the giggle this evening!
Yay — so glad I made the GiggleQueen laugh! 😊
Kids at that age are innocent and forthcoming. I miss that age as when they get older it’s not very pretty. Very cute and funny. Needed to hear of a good kid today.
